A word from the artist…

Pencil has always been a vital medium for me. It was how I initially taught myself to draw, and with it has arisen so much joy and so much confidence in my own abilities. From pencil came a love for pen and biro drawings, wherein accidental strokes or the over-shadowing of a face or jacket has become commonplace and appreciated.

Wherever it is that coloured drawings take me, my first artistic home was found in a greyscale world, and I have an appreciation for it that knows no bounds.
