‘Consequences’
This project required a considerable degree of forward-thinking and creativity. The initial inspiration was the word ‘face’, which also had to be the last word in the sequence. In between those two words, each panel had to link in some way to the one before it, resulting in a type of story that the viewer could follow if they so wished.
I found, as a drew, that a story of its very own making had begun; a story about lovers separated by physical distance, represented both in the drawings and in the piece as a whole.
