This piece is indicative of a relationship that I am certain would have prevailed in any and all lifetimes; a point exacerbated by the use of my partner’s name, Luke, showcased in other languages on the postcards.

The ESF badge, drawn in pencil, links my partner’s childhood to the present, wherein he has taught me to ski, as he was taught to ski by the ESF trainer’s as a young child. He gifted me that badge after our first ski trip, in 2024.
